Research

The overall purpose of this project is to develop and apply novel image analysis techniques in order to better understand the structural brain changes associated with normal brain development, premature birth and perinatal brain injury. Our long-term goals are to develop neuroimaging analysis technologies that enable highly sensitive and specific analysis of neonatal brain structure and function, and to improve our understanding of the association between brain structure and behavioral consequences.
