We evaluated the method using three modalities of data, magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) images of brain vessels, MR images of brain, and CT images of lung, aiming at the segmentation and visualization of brain vessels from MRA and MRI, and bronchi from CT, respectively. The method was implemented on Sun Enterprise server using multi-threaded programming.
