Antonia Ceccarelli M.D., Ph.D. (October 2009-September 2012)

Dr. Ceccarelli is a fully trained Neurologist and an Instructor in the department of Neurology, Laboratory for Neuroimaging Research, Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. After earning her M.D. from the University of Bari, Italy, Dr. Ceccarelli completed her residency in Neurology and earned her Ph.D. in Neuroimaging from the University Vita-Salute of San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, Italy. She has received numerous awards for her research studies. She has authored and co-authored more than 30 papers published in the neurological scientific literature. Dr. Ceccarelli’s research continues to investigate the clinical application of integrated multimodal high-field MR structural and functional techniques in patients with brain disorders, especially multiple sclerosis. She is also an ad hoc reviewer for several journals.
