Alireza Sedghi

Alireza Sedghi is a Ph.D. candidate in computer science at Queen’s University, Canada and a research fellow in Radiology at the Surgical Planning Laboratory (SPL), Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). He received his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, and M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2012 and 2015, respectively. His master's thesis focused on the assessment of visual pathways disorders in multiple sclerosis patients using fMRI.

Alireza is currently involved with projects at National Center for Image-Guided Therapy (NCIGT), and BWH. His research interests include deep learning in medical image computing, computer-aided detection and diagnosis, and multi-modal integration of medical data.
