Arkadiusz Sitek Ph.D. (June 2007-November 2012)

Arkadiusz is a faculty scientist working with the nuclear medicine physics group in the BWH.

He graduated at the Warsaw University with a Master degree in physics in 1994 and he received his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 1998.

Arek specializes in the medical image processing, analysis, visualization, physical data modeling, tomographic iterative image reconstruction, and computer programming. His main research interest are in the alternative three-dimensional medical image representations and visualizations. His research is concentrated in the areas of the Nuclear Medicine, MRI , and CT and in general medical physics.
