Soenke Bartling (September 2001-February 2002)

Soenke spent the time from 9/01 to 2/02 in the SPL as a research student from Hannover Medical School. He was supported by a stipend from the BMEP (BioMedicalExchangeProgram) and here. He developed, standardized and evaluated a method to register and fuse CT and MRI of the skull base. Further, he worked on different other projects and he gathered a lot of experience in image postprocessing. He enjoyed working in between the clinical radiology and the computer. He always wories, if he see how much is possible and how less is implemented in clinical radiology. This is sad, but a great field for us to work in.
