Brad Dickerson M.D. (May 2005-August 2006)

Brad is an Instructor in Neurology at HMS, and Associate Neurologist in the Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Assistant in Neurology at MGH. Dr. Dickerson obtained a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 1990 from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, after which he worked as a medical writer for the Alzheimer's Assocation. Brad obtained an M.D. from University of Illinois, Chicago. During medical school, he performed quantitative morphometric structural MRI research in aging, Alzheimer's disease, and epilepsy. During and after neurology residency and behavioral neurology fellowship at MGH and BWH, he has been performing functional and structural MRI research in aging, MCI, and Alzheimer's disease. His work seeks to understand the effects of aging and AD on the neural basis of memory.
