Pablo Casaseca Ph.D. (June-August 2009)
Pablo received his M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, both on electrical engineering from the University of Valladolid (Spain) in 2000 and 2008 respectively. From December 2000 to November 2003 he worked as a design engineer for Alcatel Espacio S.A. where he contributed to several space programs including the European satellite navigation system, Galileo. He then joined the Laboratory of Image Processing (LPI) at his home University with a research fellowship which finished in October 2005 when his academic activities began.
He is currently a lecturer at the same University developing his research work within the LPI. His research interests are statistical modeling and nonlinear methods for signal and image processing. Currently, he is a visiting researcher at the LMI where he is working on projects related to estimation problems in Diffusion Imaging.
