Chenxi Zhang, Ph.D. (February 2014-January 2015)

Chenxi Zhang received her Ph.D. Degree in biomedical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Digital Medical Center, Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University. Her research interests include brain-shift modelling and image-guided minimally invasive surgery. She now is a visiting Research Fellow at the Surgical Planning Laboratory, Department of Radiology, Brigham and Women's Hospital. She is involved in a project of image-guided prostate intervention. Her project will involve investigation of registration method of ultrasound images and MR images and development of registration tools using 3D Slicer as a platform.
