Surgical Planning Laboratory

Chris Gorgolewski (April-August 2010)

For my undergraduate studies I've done Cognitive Science at Adam Mickiewicz University and Computer Science at Poznan University of Technology (which I've graduated with a BSc). After moving to Edinburgh I've been working on functional diffusion tensor imaging which was the topic of my Masters thesis. Currently I'm doing a PhD at the University of Edinburgh. I'm interested in building a probabilistic model of grey and white matter activation using fMRI and DTI that would be useful in presurgical planning for tumour extraction. I'm also working on single subject fMRI, especially the way of thresholding t SPM of ROIs.
