Cindy Wible Ph.D. (August 1991-March 2013)
Cindy is affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Her background is in neuroscience, doing single unit recording and lesion studies in the hippocampus in animals. She is currently using MRI in conjunction with human subjects in order to understand the relationship between brain dysfunction and schizophrenia. Her primary interests include hippocampal function in normal subjects and the role of hippocampal and temporal lobe dysfunction in schizophrenia.
Before coming to Harvard, She worked with Howard Eichenbaum in the Biology Department when he was at Wellesley College. Before that, her Ph.D. work was with David Olton at Johns Hopkins.
