Dimitris Mitsouras Ph.D.


Dr. Mitsouras is an Assistant Professor on the faculty of the Department of Radiology, Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He received his PhD from the M.I.T. Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in September of 2004. His expertise is in applied mathematics, computer science and MR physics. He is currently working with the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular imaging section on novel fast high-resolution imaging and relaxometry technologies applied toward imaging atherosclerosis, vein graft maturation and failure and the correlation of the development of coronary artery disease with shear stress using both MR and CT imaging.
