Frank Preiswerk, Ph.D.

Frank obtained an M.Sc in Computer Science in 2009 and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2013, both from University of Basel in Switzerland.

Since 2014 he is a postdoctoral research fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His work seeks to develop image processing and machine learning algorithms to combine MR and ultrasound imaging for boosting the temporal resolution of MR and to model and predict respiratory organ motion for image-guided therapy.

In 2017, Frank was awarded the Young Investigator Cum Laude Award of the ISMRM for his pioneering work on "Hybrid MRI-Ultrasound Acquisitions, and Scannerless Real-Time Imaging”.
