Surgical Planning Laboratory

Jane Anderson Ph.D. (September 1996-May 2000)

Jane is a postdoctoral trainee from the Clinical Research Training Program of the Psychiatry Department at Harvard Medical School. As a member of Martha Shenton's team at the Surgical Planning Laboratory of the Brigham and Women's Hospital she is using structural MRI measurements to study the cerebral structures affected by schizophrenia. Her other projects include the transcranial magnetic stimulation project, the Harvard Brain Atlas and the elastic matching of this atlas onto new MR brain images.

She received her doctoral degree in experimental psychology from Tufts University in 1996 where she studied language processing using event-related brain potentials.
