Axel Krauth (October 2003-March 2004)

Axel started his studies in computer science and medical informatics at the University of Passau, Germany, in 1998.

At the beginning he was interested in automatic loop parallelization and worked within LooPo, a parallel loop compiler project. During his exchange year at KTH (Sweden) he familiarised himself with the field of human computer interaction and computer support for collaborative work.

He started writing his master thesis at the FORWISS institute in Passau under supervision of Prof. Dr. Klaus Donner. The topic of the master thesis is the development of a orthopedic procedure planning tool for slicer.
