Tina Kapur Ph.D.
Tina Kapur is the Executive Director of the Image Guided Therapy Program in the Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1995 and 1999 respectively. In 1999, she joined Visualization Technology Inc (VTI) a Boston-based Surgical Navigation Company as Chief Scientist, and continued as Chief Scientist and Systems Engineering and Research Manager at GE Healthcare's NAV division, after VTI was acquired by GE Healthcare. She is the holder of several issued US and international patents in the field of surgical navigation, as well as the author of several peer reviewed publications in the field of medical image analysis.
