Description of project with SPL

Inhalational injury in the lung. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations of particle deposition in human airways and correlation to COPD. Both generic branched airways and geometries segmented from CT scans will be used in the simulations. In collaboration with George Washko MD (BWH), Raul San Jose Estepar, Ph.D. (BWH/SPL), and Mr. James Ross (BWH/SPL).
